I find few things in life bring are as engaging and fulfilling as engineering solutions to real-world problems. Whether it\'s- Fixing a karaoke mic with a zip-tie- Designing a Salesforce data model that enables parallel processing of loan applications for multiple financial products that contributes to quarter-over-quarter revenue growth- Architecting and delivering a rapid-response end-to-end solution for private and public organizations to coordinate and manage mass testing of COVID-19- Helping a marketing organization gain clarity and control over their customers\' journeys, and to better understand how investments in campaigns and initiatives drive revenue- Repairing a 20-year old washing machine, just to learn how it works.I love weaving together novel solutions. But that\'s the easy part. Designing, building, learning new technologies - that\'s not a unique skill set. What\'s much more challenging is actually delivering working products in the context of business and people. It\'s serving a team with vulnerability, vision, compassion, and empathy. It\'s putting people first, taking accountability, and leading by example.It\'s knowing that the biggest risks and constant risks are the risk of unknowns, and the only way of mitigate unknowns is- Trusting in the fundamentals- Executing with consistency- Staying humble enough to know when the unknown becomes known- Putting flexibility before the egoFor me, Building with technology isn\'t just a job. It\'s a perpetual exploration of challenges that require innovation, coordination, collaboration, and appreciating the experience as much as the result.I\'ve been fortunate to straddle this passion for technology and a spirit of life-long learning with the ability to understand the needs of the business, and the wants of users; to keep in mind that \"cool\" technology isn\'t an answer to business problems in itself, and that solutions need to fit people as much as process.Otherwise, if there\'s one thing I love more than my work, it\'s my family.
