   Founded in 1979, The Private Label Manufacturers Association is the international trade organization devoted exclusively to promoting the private label industry. PLMA represents more than member companies in over 65 countries and maintains offices in New York and Amsterdam, The Netherlands.Products supplied by member companies include food and beverages, toiletries, cosmetics and health care products, household and kitchen products, housewares, DIY and leisure products.PLMA presents its annual Private Label Trade Show for the U.S. in Chicago every November. In addition, PLMA presents the “World of Private Label” Trade Show in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, in May, and co-sponsors the Shanghai Private Label Fair in China in December.PLMA also organizes special events around the world to educate and bring awareness to private label and to help members expand their business.
