ABOUT DANEEL KONNAR
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Leadership with minors in Political Science and Higher Education in May 2024. Last summer, I interned with Cogent Strategies, a bi-partisan lobbying firm in Washington, D.C, where I assisted with data analysis and research, drafting policy briefs and memos, and keeping track of Congressional hearings taking place on Capitol Hill while tracking specific pieces of legislation passing through Congress. Prior to that, I served as an intern in Mississippi Congressman Trent Kelly’s office in Washington, D.C. and as an intern for Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves. At Ole Miss, I served as the Executive Director of the Student Activities Association, the university’s student programming board, and Vice-President of The Columns Society, the official hosts and hostesses for the University of Mississippi.
