Guest lecturer for the graduate-level course Biochem 230: Biochemistry of Gene Expression and Signal Transduction (Gene transcription regulation, gene editing, non-coding RNA, mRNA splicing, processing, export, and mRNA therapeutic development sections. Currently lead four 2hr lectures and two 2 hr discussions. This course covers the molecular mechanisms of gene expression and signal transduction. The fundamental mechanisms underlying transcription, RNA processing, translation, and DNA replication are highlighted, and the integration of these fundamental mechanisms into molecular and cellular regulation of proliferation and signal transduction is discussed.
