I’ve been building and scaling design systems for nearly two decades. My career started in 2005 with Openhotel.com, and since then I’ve designed for startups, products later acquired by Zynga, and global brands like Bosch, Contigo, Weber, Cadillac, Chevy, GMC, Buick, Acura, and Honda.At General Motors, I focus on in vehicle design systems that unify experiences across brands and platforms. In just 5 years, I have:Created the In Vehicle Base Design System in Sketch, deployed on the 2026 Corvette working closely with the Chevy Lead Designer and developers.Built the In Vehicle UI Kit in Figma, now used across all GM and partner brands.Developed the In Vehicle Icon Library from Illustrator assets, unifying teams.Serve as a Maintainer of the In Vehicle Design System website, ensuring consistency and adoption across teams.A key part of my impact is working cross functionally with developers, design leads, and domain leads to align standards, scale adoption, and improve speed to market. My work bridges design and engineering. Making systems not only beautiful, but practical, usable, and widely implemented.Beyond GM, I continue to build. I develop websites using 11ty and publish iOS apps to the App Store in my free time.
