I have participated in the DOD CMMC ecosystem since October 2019 and I am currently a Lead Certified CMMC Assessor. I have lead or was a CCA for over 20 JSVA and CMMC Level 2 assessment. Finally, I have managed the standup of a C3PAO and RPO.My experience reflects the synergy of Cybersecurity, Project Management, Operational Technology (OT/Industrial Control Systems/SCADA), Information Technology (IT), Scientific Computing, and Computer Science that allows me to analyze existing systems and needs to strategically align them with future trends and technologies. My experience and business knowledge gives me a unique multi-tiered understanding of current systems, modern systems, and future capabilities needed in the Cybersecurity, IT, and OT on a corporate-wide level. I understand how things work and are implemented not just how to use the tools. My project management background allows me to successfully manage large projects and interact with other management leaders. I have been in management positions at 4 DOE 413.3b capital asset projects both nationally and internationally. I have extensive knowledge of DOE and its requirements and systems. I have worked at, participated in reviews or workshops, or presented at: ANL, BNL, FNAL, JLAB, LANL, LBNL, LBL, ORNL, PNNL, Sandia, and SLAC. I have been an invited speaker for conferences and workshops in the U.S. and Internationally and published many papers in the areas of ICS and operationsI have worked on and completed, two very successful DOE megaprojects: the Advanced Photon Source ($500M in 1997) and the Spallation Neutron Source ($1.4B in 2005), and worked on the US ITER project ($3B), and the Exascale Computing Project ($1.8B).
