ABOUT DAN CHURCH

Regional Manager with a passion for people, purpose, and long-term impact. With a background as a former business owner and Director, I bring hands-on experience in service delivery, strategy, and stakeholder management. But it was my personal health transformation - losing over 10 stone through MAN v FAT - that gave me a renewed sense of purpose: helping others make lasting, life-changing progress.I started as a player in the MAN v FAT programme, became a coach, and today I proudly lead 65 clubs across the South of England as Regional Manager - a role I’ve held since 2019. My journey from participant to leader has shaped everything I do, grounded in lived experience, empathy, and a belief in the power of community-led change. In this role, I collaborate with both the leadership and wider HQ team, and a committed network of coaches and volunteer assistant coaches. Together, we ensure the smooth operation, development, and performance of all clubs in the region. For five years, I led the delivery and performance management of several public health contracts across the South - overseeing stakeholder relationships, partnership meetings, service-level reporting, and ensuring KPIs were consistently achieved. My approach blends high standards with human understanding. I believe meaningful progress starts with empathy - and that when people feel seen and supported, real change is possible.• Regional leadership of 65 clubs• Lived experience of transformative weight loss• Led delivery of public health contracts with full accountability for performance• Strong relationships with local authorities and health stakeholders• Former business owner and Director• Focused on behaviour change and sustainable community impactI’m always open to connecting with others working in health, wellbeing, sport, or leadership - to collaborate, share insights, and create positive, lasting change together.
