I love sharing what I know about startup life.After 11 years as a leader in the US Army, I co-founded my first company - an Internet Service Provider - in Baghdad, Iraq. My wife and I started a second company about 3 years later in the Sacramento Region - a cupcake shop in Roseville called Smallcakes.Having been successful in both ventures, I wanted to learn more and met the Lean Startup method. It turns out that I had been using it all along but was unaware of it. I needed to share this with others.I\'ve been teaching Lean methods to Entrepreneurs for 5 years and am privileged to have helped over 500 founders start companies. To be clear: I\'m not the one that\'s \'creating\' Entrepreneurs - they\'re doing that themselves. I\'m just the one in the passenger seat helping them navigate.I get an incredible amount of fulfillment by learning things that are important to people and then teaching what I know.
