About Dan Brammer

Experienced Automation Specialist with 17 years experience in Pharmaceutical automation. I posses strong project management skills concerning process control, change control, automation, batch execution systems, validation and SCADA. I have worked intensively with automation in biotech and pharmaceutical projects since assuming roles ranging from project manager, engineering manager, lead engineer, to process and automation consultant in conceptual studies as well as basic design and detailed design projects. With an initial focus on the areas of automation engineering and process engineering, including bulk processes and active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), I expanded my area of focus & expertise to include Yokogawa software, migration projects, primary clean-utility systems and processes.I am currently working as Partner & Senior Automation Specialist on behalf of Confirm A/S, in a partnership with NNE and Fluor Enterprises, Inc, assisting the Detailed Design phase of a Novo Nordisk diabetes API production facility in North Carolina.My experience with Pharmaceutical automation has seen me develop an enhanced understanding of the following- SattLine- PCS+- PCS7- DeltaV- S7- Simatic Batch- Yokogawa Centum VP- GAMP- S88

   Working on behalf of Confirm A/S, I will be working in a partnership with NNE and Fluor Enterprises, Inc, assisting the Detailed Design phase of a Novo Nordisk diabetes API production facility in North Carolina. The facility will produce active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) for a range of Novo Nordisk\'s current and future GLP-1 and insulin medicines. Fully operational in 2020, the Clayton facility will work to ensure production capacity for diabetes medicines in the U.S for the foreseeable future.
