The loss of my son changed the trajectory of my life and, ultimately, my work. I stepped away from corporate healthcare because I could no longer participate in systems that asked people to sacrifice their humanity for scale. What followed was not a retreat. It was a re-orientation.With distance came clarity. Most healthcare failures are not clinical. They are structural. Incentives misaligned with care. Compliance treated as an afterthought. Strategy built for speed instead of sustainability. After more than two decades inside complex healthcare systems across payers, providers, contracting, finance, and operations, stepping back allowed me to see where these models consistently break down and why.Today, I work at the intersection of healthcare strategy, compliance, and market design. As Founder and CEO of Wellthlinks, a healthcare strategy and advisory firm with multiple initiatives, I lead work that supports physicians, employers, and healthcare founders in building independent care models that are clinically sound, financially viable, and legally durable. This work spans concierge and direct primary care, employer-aligned benefit design, and compliance-first growth. Not as theory, but as architecture that has to survive real-world constraints.I am known for bringing rigor where there is often ideology and clarity where there is noise. I do not believe innovation and regulation are opposing forces. I believe durable healthcare models require both, thoughtfully integrated from the start.In addition to my leadership work, I am an author and a U.S. Army veteran. My perspective has been shaped not only by executive roles, but by lived experience that permanently sharpened my standards for integrity, accountability, and what I am willing to help build.As my work increasingly sits at the intersection of healthcare strategy and law, I am expanding my formal legal training to further strengthen the systems I help design.
