My wife and I plan vacation trips and particularly specialize in Destination Weddings in the Caribbean. Over the past 10+ years, we have helped over 130 couples (and their guests from across Canada and the US) to set their wedding in a unique Caribbean location at prices that are considerably less than an \"at home\" wedding. We \"visit what we sell\" to the best of our ability: all trips south involve personal arrangements with wedding coordinators and sales managers at selected resorts to view their properties to get a good sense of what is available for clients.This self-arranged personalized education on resorts is also invaluable to couples or families simply wishing to go to a suitable resort.We also focus on small ship cruising, including River Cruising, though the small ship concept is also recognized on the ocean with ships that are much smaller than main cruise lines. Small ships can get into ports that larger ships cannot, affording more opportunities for \"something different.\"Re River Cruises: we have personal experience with Europe (Budapest to Amsterdam), Portugal ( Douro River), France (Rhone River), China (The Yangtze River), Egypt (The Nile River), Vietnam with 2 different river cruises: the Red River in NorthEastern Vietnam and the Mekong in North Western Vietnam and Cambodia, both with lengthy land additions pre and post, a Mississippi River cruise on the American Queen, a unique experience on a sternwheeler ship, and most recently an Italy coach tour combined with a Venice Po River cruise and can share our experiences with you.A third specialty is Florida Travel with an emphasis on Theme Parks. We try to visit Florida every couple of years and stay on property at Walt Disney World (have experienced 8 of their hotels to date from Value resorts to Deluxe resorts) and Universal Studios (have stayed at two of the Loews properties on site). We are also aware of the benefits/drawbacks of staying off-resort and can discuss the pros and cons.
