Structural analyst for Joby\'s composite electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. Static, dynamic, fatigue, & modal analysis of structural aircraft components. Lead analyst for composite empennage, propeller blades, and tilt linkages. Composite ply stack optimization for weight reduction while maintaining manufacturing constraints. Analysis of adhesive bonds and bolted connections. Correlation of finite element models with test data (static and modal). High-speed impact analysis of composite structures with foreign objects. Certification substantiation work including developing means of compliance, authoring test plans & structural analysis reports, signing drawings, developing & witnessing component and subcomponent test methodologies. Blade 3D to 1D beam homogenization & dehomogenization (stress/strain recovery). Direct communication with mechanical & structural design team.
