   I am a senior consultant in strategy and analytics aligned with Government and Public Services (GPS) at Deloitte. In this role, I have supported a range of public health and social impact projects with clients such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), REDF, and Oregon Health Authority (OHA). My previous project experience includes supporting a racial health disparities project on vaccine equity and adult immunization, a cardiovascular disease prevention project, a global health project on neglected tropical disease (NTD) elimination and control efforts in 11 countries in West Africa, and a strategy refresh for a nonprofit organization which invests in employment social enterprises (ESEs) to bridge the gap in long-term livable wage jobs for individuals experiencing barriers to employment. My last role was supporting the creation of a Medicaid expansion plan to close the coverage gap that incarcerated individuals face upon release from prison by offering limited benefits to individuals 90 days pre-release. By closing this gap in coverage, the project aimed to proactively reduce health equity gaps and financial costs related to recidivism. Alongside client work, I am a co-lead for the Georgetown Pivot Program, which is a professional development program for individuals who have previously been incarcerated. I am also the lead for the criminal justice reform culture and inclusion events workstream, where we organize criminal justice-related events for connecting and engaging practitioners on the Department of Justice account. Apart from events, I am also a co-lead on the eminence workstream of the criminal justice reform working group, where I write op-eds and other materials on criminal justice reform work at the firm (i.e, second chance hiring).
