ABOUT DANAI KORRE
I am a Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of Bedfordshire and a Computer Science researcher specialising in Human–Computer Interaction with over a decade of experience across educational technology, UX research, conversational AI, and immersive learning. My work investigates how people understand, learn with, and steer intelligent systems—such as LLMs, conversational agents, robots, and BCIs—through conversational, embodied, and mixed‑reality interfaces. I combine design‑based research, prototype‑driven evaluation, and user‑centred methods to create effective, explainable, and engaging intelligent learning experiences across online, hybrid, and immersive environments.I am also the Strategic Lead for Marketing & Admissions in the Schools of Computing, Engineering and Creative Industries. Previously held research and teaching roles at the Universities of Strathclyde and Edinburgh.
