Catastrophe risk manager with 14 years experience in (re)insurance. Currently managing the Catastrophe Research (R&D) team at Chaucer for all catastrophic perils, both natural and man made. This work includes the validation and evaluation of external catastrophe models, developing internal cat. solutions, and shaping Chaucer’s view of cat. risk. Regularly reporting on deliverables to the highest levels of management in Chaucer, as well as contributing subject matter expertise to Exposure Management for all cat. functions. We are interested in building partnerships with academic institutions and analytical teams from this industry and others for research, project work and knowledge sharing.
