About Dana F. Ladd

As Principal of Architecture at Warner Summers, I offer expertise across the spectrum of architectural services, including design, construction and executive project oversight as well as marketing and business development. I thrive on making clients happy, and making what may otherwise be a grueling process be a fun and exciting one. I enjoy learning about people and how their companies’ and work cultures operate, and actively participating in changing the way people experience the built environment through good design.I started in the world of architecture in 2006, and in 2007 the foreboding bubble burst. Spending those first few years in the environment that the recession created, I quickly learned an invaluable truth about the working world – that you’re entitled to nothing, and if you want something you have to work for it. While it was merely survival mode then, it was a work ethic that stuck with me and what I believe propelled me into the role I’m in now.My achievements include several design awards and professional awards for various organizations, including many for my involvement in CREW Atlanta, which has strengthened my core values of self-advocacy and support for my peers. As a mother of two girls, one of my favorite things in life is to encourage other women to be confident in their abilities and sharing what I know through my failures and accomplishments.
