About Dana Leemhuis

I started my career at Purdue University where I studied pre-dental for three years. I realized it was not something I wanted to do for the rest of my life, so I switched to the design and construction integration program where I quickly made a home for myself. The DCI program allowed me to dabble in architectural design, interior design, construction management and the client experience. I brought all of the tools I learned in school to my internships and jobs.My professional experiences with residential, commercial and industrial design have allowed me to bring the best aspects together in my thought process and work ethic. I am a problem solver through and through, especially when working in team environments. Collaboration is exciting and beneficial to me because it allows me to receive feedback and grow. Working with others is something I have always been naturally good at. I can relate to others easily and have been told that I have a calming presence that helps resolve conflict and misunderstandings. My top strengths are organization, communication and problem solving.When I\'m not working, you can find me outside walking, biking, and roller blading on local trails. My work/personal life balance is extremely important to me because unwinding at the end of the day and on weekends allows you to reset for the following week. My friends and family are all at the top of my priority list.
