ABOUT DANA DUGHBAJ
Hi, I\'m Dana, a driven third-year student majoring in Political Science and Spanish, with a minor in Law, Justice, and Social Change, at the University of Michigan. On the pre-law track, I am passionate about advancing international human rights through law and policy. As Editor-in-Chief of the Michigan Journal of International Affairs, I lead a team of exceptional writers in producing op-ed-style pieces on pressing global issues. In my role as Director of Intern Engagement and Outreach for the John Paul Torres for Congress campaign, I manage and train interns while supporting voter outreach and grassroots organizing. As a former U.S. Senate and House intern, I have experience with the legislative process, policy research, memo writing, and constituent services. I am looking to bring these skills into the legal space to protect human rights in both a domestic and international space. You can reach me at d•••••••@umich.edu. Looking forward to connecting!
