ABOUT DANA C.
WHAT 15 YEARS HAS TAUGHT METhe most expensive transformation failures I\'ve seen share one thing in common: strategy and people weren\'t designed to move together. For 15+ years, across government, consulting, the built environment, and the private sector, I\'ve led the work of closing that gap: translating complex priorities into organizational change that actually holds.WHERE I OPERATEAs Director of Communications and Client Experience at BGIS, I lead enterprise transformation across complex, multi-stakeholder portfolios. I advise senior leaders on change, engagement, and narrative strategy during structural and operational shift, and I translate those priorities into execution that lands at every level of the organization.WHEN SCHOLARSHIP MEETS STRATEGYAs an EdD candidate at OISE, my research focuses on moving equity policy from intention to measurable impact: examining what enables or inhibits equity from becoming embedded in organizational systems and everyday practice. This work directly shapes how I approach transformation: not just what changes, but who benefits and how meaningfully. HOW I MAKE AN IMPACTI pioneered Canada\'s first Building Condition Assessment Tool for Gender Inclusivity, now informing how organizations evaluate built environments for equitable, high-performing populations. I\'ve facilitated 200+ executive workshops, conferences, and town halls across sectors. Earlier in my career, applied research on the relationship between physical environments, mental health, and social belonging laid the analytical foundation I bring to organizational design today.RECOGNITION & CREDENTIALSCoreNet REmmy Awards Finalist (2023), ESG Leadership in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. Winner, CMHC Award for Excellence in Innovation (2019). Bilingual: English and French (EN | FR). Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, M.A. in Education, MELS and OCT Certified Educator.
