ABOUT DANA CARTER

With many years of experience in talent acquisition and recruitment, I am passionate about finding and hiring the best candidates for various roles and organizations. Currently, I work as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Strathcona County, where I support the hiring process by sourcing, and screening candidates, as well as supporting the Talent Acquisition Partners throughout the hiring process. Previously, I worked as a Technical Sourcing Recruiter at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where I leveraged my technical skills and recruitment experience to manage and analyze large datasets of candidate profiles, and to create and optimize sourcing strategies. I have also gained valuable administrative and organizational skills from my role as a General Manager Administrative Assistant at Amazon, where I assisted the GM with daily operations and communications. I enjoy working with diverse and collaborative teams, and I am always eager to learn new skills and tools to enhance my performance and efficiency. My goal is to contribute to the success and growth of the organizations I work for, and to help them achieve their mission and vision.
