About Dana Barringer

I\'m international development professional with 7+ years of experience working on international development and democracy programs in Latin America. I currently work as a Program Manger at the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), managing programs on strengthening economic security and resilience, securing critical minerals supply chains, and advancing economic freedoms. I\'ve previously worked as a Program Assistant at the Department of State\'s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement supporting the Central America Regional Security Initiative and monitoring and evaluation efforts under the Biden Administration\'s Strategy to Address the Root Causes of Migration and as an Associate Program Officer with CIPE. I completed my M.A. in International Development Studies with a specialization in Gender and Development from The George Washington University in 2024. I previously received a B.A. in International Affairs and Spanish & Latin American Languages, Literatures and Cultures with a concentration in Latin American Studies and a minor in Public Health from The George Washington University in 2018.
