About Dana Streff
Currently the Vice President of Retail Operations and am responsible for the strategic operational direction for 172 U.S. and Canada retail stores to include New Store Support, Front End, Back End, Inventory & Shrink Management, Task Management, Outfitter Mobility, Omni Channel (DTC), Communication, Labor Management, Voice of the Customer, Micro & Macro Space allocation, Firearms Operations & Compliance, and P&L and Capital Expense budgeting/forecasting/management. Prior to moving into Retails Operations, I spent over 12 years in Human Resources managing various functions to include, Compliance, HRIS, Recognition, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Communication, Wellness and Recruitment. I have been instrumental in supporting the implementation of cost saving and efficiency efforts to save over $25M in retail controllable expenses. In addition, lead the Retail Integration Team for the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela\'s Retail store integration.Beyond an extensive background with Bass Pro Shops and Cabela\'s, I have been part of our family owned Catering business for over 30 years where I am responsible for menu creation, food preparation, event planning and execution and specialize in dessert design and creation. I am a proven leader with a track record on delivering results, streamlining processes and engaging teams with a can do attitude while still making it fun. Outside of my professional career, I enjoy being in the outdoors. This includes anything from drinking coffee in the mornings on the front porch to running with my dog, cycling, fishing, hunting, or just being with family.
