I am an Insurance/Financial professional that utilizes data-driven decisions to drive results. Capitalizing on this has allowed me to gain valuable knowledge and skills through multiple opportunities in my career both as a people leader and individual contributor in financial roles. • In my role as a Financial Analyst, I used data mining tools to create reports and provide analysis for underwriting and state management driving growth and profitability opportunities. Was also the state manager for Idaho responsible for the P&L of $3M book of business collaborating with business partners to drive top and bottom-line growth. • During my time as an Operations Manager, I developed People Leadership skills and enhanced my knowledge of our Operations Team. I created a new onboarding process that resulted in a more streamlined approach focused on high priority concerns. The new process led to a 50% reduction in inventory. • As a Strategy Consultant, led projects with 3rd party vendors and internal partners to capture leaked premium dollars, retain existing premium, and develop new distribution channels resulting in positive ROI\'s and premium over $1M. • Moving to an Auto Claims Manager allowed me another opportunity to learn a new functional area and continue to develop my People Leadership Skills. I was able to utilize my analytical skills to ensure proper workload management between two Claims Administration systems for the department and my team consistently exceeded KPI metrics utilizing data and trending analysis. The main themes in each role have been financial analysis and leadership. I have always been a “go-to” and knowledge expert in all things related to data and analysis utilizing a logical approach to drive success. As a people leader, I find explaining the “why” with the help of data drives results and gets buy-in from associates. Once the “why” is understood and buy-in has been achieved, a connection has been made which is critical in garnering the trust of people and company success. Roles that have built my extensive knowledge in the industry include Underwriter, Financial Consultant, Operations Manager, Planning & Strategy Consultant & Claims Manager. I have also been a member of my town’s Board of Park Commissioners for over 20 years working with staff and the community to maintain and enhance the parks in our district. In my free time, I enjoy golf, boating, pickleball, concerts and traveling.
