ABOUT DANA SHAW
Dana has spent his entire life working in the horticulture industry. Beginning with Bonsai classes at age 12 and progressing through a career in landscaping before attending the University of New Hampshire and earning a degree in Horticulture specializing in Greenhouse Production. After graduation Dana moved out to Seattle, WA and again worked hard in the horticulture industry but this time focusing on Irrigation design, installation and management. While working full time Dana also attended the Seattle location of the University of Washington’s school of Civil and Environmental engineering for a professional certificate in Urban Green Infrastructure. Still pressing forward with his passion for resource conservation focused on water, Dana earned an additional certification in Irrigation Water Management. In 2010 Dana moved to St. Louis, MO with his wife but still kept his career moving forward in Irrigation and horticulture. Earning additional certifications from OSHA, Dept. Natural Resources, the Society of Sanitary Engineering and a degree from Colorado State University in business operations specializing in organizational leadership. Since 2012 Dana has been involved in SAAS software sales and implementation as well as launching and running several companies in the landscape, business consulting and cannabis industries.
