ABOUT DANA ROMAN

To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often” (Winston Churchill). When others see change as challenging, I see it as an opportunity to develop new skills, new connections, new successes. The healthcare industry continues to change, and by engaging my customers and understanding their needs, I have been innovative in helping them navigate the challenges they face. The complex environment can’t be easily tackled by an individual, it takes people collaborating together to problem solve and find the path that leads to positive transformation for our patients, our customers and our business. This is where I differentiate myself from my peers. Due to my broad experience across many roles and therapeutic areas, I view problems from many angles and provide innovative solutions. I thrive in complex situation where decision making is highly challenging. I have purposely taken newly developed, ambiguous roles within AstraZeneca. I have pioneered those jobs defining how to be successful. I took this success to Actelion, a small Biopharmaceutical company, and have continued to leverage my skills to become an asset to the organization. I am a highly effective collaborating across broad cross-functional teams to bring solutions that are strategic, innovative and patient focused. My passion for delivering results, solutions for my customers and innovative programs/resources to patients has been the fuel for my success. I have most enjoyed working in the IDN/Health system & Payor spaces, especially in the areas of Patient Access, Patient Activation, Innovative contracting, Population Health, Telehealth and Quality. My therapeutic expertise includes: Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, Oncology, Endocrine, Cardiovascular and Respiratory.
