ABOUT DANA ROLLISON
Dr. Dana Rollison is a data strategist and data science leader with more than two decades of experience in cancer research and oncology striving to continuously leverage data for the improvement of human health through data-driven innovation. As the Vice President, Enterprise Data Strategy for Danaher Corporation, she is responsible for developing Danaher’s enterprise-wide data strategy and leading its execution in alignment with business and scientific objectives across multiple life sciences, diagnostics and biotechnology operating companies. Prior to joining Danaher, Dr. Rollison served as both the first Chief Data Officer (CDO) and first Associate Center Director (ACD) of Data Science at Moffitt Cancer Center, providing visionary leadership for the enterprise data and analytics strategy, establishing data governance and novel academic pathways for data science, and building data science teams and technology platforms to advance cancer research, precision medicine and care delivery. A research faculty member for more than two decades, Dr. Rollison conducted epidemiologic research into viral, genetic and immunologic risk factors for gastrointestinal, cutaneous and hematological cancers, as well as studies of novel applied informatics approaches for cancer surveillance and clinical trial optimization.
