   Develops, implements, and oversees strategic plan and budget • Responsible for grant writing and fundraising activities • Established Ready to Run Campaign Training for Women in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia (Alums include: State Representatives Jessica Benham, Val Gaydos, Emily Kinkead, Sara Innamorato, La\'Tasha Mayes, Leanne Krueger; Judge Nicola Henry Taylor; Congresswoman Chrissy Houlahan, to name a few) • Directs NEW Leadership PA: an intensive, week-long, residential leadership and public policy institute designed to educate and empower undergraduate women; has been fully funded under my leadership due to successful grant writing; Increased enrollment in the program by 230% and increased diversity of attendees across schools, geography, and race • Coordinates the annual Elsie Hillman Chair in Women and Politics: The Chair is used to bring distinguished women political leaders, scholars, journalists, or activists to campus (e.g. Judy Woodruff, Gwen Ifill, U.S. Senators Snowe and Mikulski, Govs Granholm and Martinez, Congresswoman Liz Cheney) • Directs civic engagement activities on campus • Created the Social Activism Institute (SAI) with the Office of Student Affairs. SAI is an interdisciplinary approach to reaching undergraduates focusing on activism and local issues • Director of Public Leadership Education Network (PLEN) Program: Recruits students to attend public policy seminars in DC • Creates and conducts educational programs, eg: advocacy training, voter education workshops, and election discussions, and offers timely analysis of current events • Oversees Center research initiatives such as election-related data collection • Resource for international, national, state, and local journalists on politics and public policy
