Our Mission: Help protect critical infrastructure by encouraging resilient navigation and timing policies and systems. Major areas of effort: Educating the public and government leaders about the importance of navigation and timing services Supporting stronger laws and better enforcement to counter GPS jamming and spoofingFostering development and implementation of resilient navigation and timing systems as utilities. This will help prevent disruptions to critical infrastructure and economic activity, support first responders, spur development of new technologies and applications, and create jobs.Accomplishments to date:Testimony before US Congress followed by legislation signed by President. The act preserves navigation and timing infrastructure and authorizes DHS to engage in a cooperative agreement to establish an eLoran system to provide a backup to GPS. Legislation introduced in Congress to establish a terrestrial system to complement and backup GPS. Published feature article in “GPS World,” an international trade magazine, gave interview on Washington, DC news radioOver 50 meetings with US Congressional and Executive branch staffs, presentations at every meeting of the US National PNT Advisory BoardGained the written support of Deputy Secretaries of Defense and Transportation. Issue at forefront of President\'s PNT Executive Committee. Gave numerous presentations to international audiences and invited to more.
