I\'m an operations and finance leader who helps organizations run well, grow intentionally, and stay focused on their mission.As Chief Operating Officer at the Center for Public Faith, I work with leaders across the four organizations to keep things on track, guiding financial strategy, managing budgets, streamlining operations, and building systems that actually work for the long haul. My job is equal parts spreadsheets and people, making sure we\'re financially sound while creating a workplace where collaboration can thrive.Before this, I was Director of Finance for MFNN and GlocalNet, where I strengthened financial operations, improved compliance, and updated systems to keep pace with our growth.I also spent over a decade at Houston Northwest Church as Pastor of Operations, overseeing finance, HR, IT, property management, and ministry operations. When Hurricane Harvey hit, I helped lead the church\'s $12 million campus rebuild, one of the most challenging and rewarding projects I\'ve been part of.Earlier in my career, I was the President of a 50-year-old commercial flooring company that I ran for thirteen years, leading multimillion-dollar projects and learning that sustainable growth comes from doing quality work and standing behind it.I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a BBA and a minor in Marketing. I also played football there, which taught me a lot about teamwork and resilience.My wife Gretchen and I live in Houston with our three kids.I\'m always open to conversations with nonprofit startups and growing organizations that need help building strong financial and operational foundations.
