Too many times when working with security clients I noted they had tools/processes that were not being used, or they were in the process of ‘almost ready to deploy’. Worse were those clients that had a tool, that they spent two years of trying to get ready to deploy, only to decide to use a different tool and. another two years waiting to fully deploy.The problem isn’t knowledge or desire it is TIME. A CIO/CSO role in the organization places a lot of demand to do a lot of different things each and every day, and it is those demands (staff, customers, and your leadership) which prevents them from having extra TIME to spend on the project to ensure it is done in a quick and efficient manner.That is what I provide. time, which I dedicate to make sure security tools and processes become fully operational. I spend the time to do; project plans, timetables, working with stakeholders, communication, technical expertise, documentation and procedures, ensuring the staff are trained, and making sure the project is properly closed out.Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend - Theophrastus
