Thenell Law Group is an seven attorney insurance defense and law enforcement defense firm handling matters throughout the Pacific Northwest. The original focus oof our practice contuines to cover all aspects of First Party Property Coverage and Litigation, Bad Faith Defense and SIU Claims. A significant sub-component of this work includes questionable injury claims in both First and Third party settings. In the last five years, Thenell Law Group began to represent police officers through Oregon and Washington regarding administrative, criminal and civil matters, and representing some police associations in labor matters. We actively litigate cases in state and federal courts in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. In the eight years since staring Thenell Law Group, Dan has tried over two dozen cases to verdict in the State and Federal Courts of Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Most of these have been first party coverage, Bad Faith or Insurance Fraud cases, including Washington Insurance Fair Conduct Act claims. Dan\'s partners have also tried numerous third party injury claims to verdicts in Oregon courts. Thenell Law Group attorneys frequently speak to IASIU and Claims Adjuster Organizations on claims handling, SIU investigations and defending Bad Faith and First Party Property litigation. After starting Thenell Law Group, Dan and his former supervisor from Washington County, Robert Bletko, began representing police officers and associations in labor and civil disputes related to on the job employment issues, ranging from arbitration before the Employment Relations Board of Oregon, Collective Bargaining Agreements, Internal Affairs Investigations and Officer Involved Shootings. Dan was recently named as the General Counsel for the Oregon State Fraternal Order of Police Lodge.
