I am a commercial litigator. I specialise in three areas.Firstly I advise on public law and judicial review, for example I have been acting for the Gibraltar Betting and Gaming Association in two judicial review brought against the UK Government in respect of proposals to extend the UK regulation and taxation of online gambling to entities overseas. I have also been advising UK Music on its successful judicial review of the UK Government in relation to the relaxation of copyright law.Secondly, I advise on media, reputation management, privacy and data protection litigation. I act for major businesses such as Marks and Spencer and Ingenious Media in relation to media and reputation management matters. I am acting on the leading case in the field of data protection of Safari Users v Google, where earlier this year we achieved a landmark ruling from the Court of Appeal.Finally, I also deal more generally with major corporate crises, reputation management, media litigation, public law and general commercial litigation.
