   Advise senior leadership of the University on complex compliance issues in a highly-regulated industry,including compliance with privacy regulations, Title IV of the Higher Education Act, Title IX, and variousfederal and state regulations• Engage with regulators of various federal and state agencies, including the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights, in successfully resolving various administrative complaints, including complaints ofdiscrimination based on a variety of protected classes• Guide policy development across a variety of University functional areas, including Human Resources, Academic Affairs, and Risk Management• Manage litigation in collaboration with the General Counsel, including insurer notification, outside counsel participation, and resolution of matters at the state and federal level• Counsel on various employment issues, including compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII, and the Family Medical Leave Act• Negotiate, implement, and interpret collective bargaining agreements across four unions, collaborating with a cross-section of University departments and union leaders• Lead the legal review of all of the University\'s contracting efforts, ranging from construction contracts to large-scale SaaS agreements
