ABOUT DAN SHRIGLEY

By night, I\'m on a mission to make a difference in the world of men\'s mental heath. I\'m trying to do this in a few ways: First up, I\'m the Co Founder of Shoulder to Shoulder, a men\'s community focusing on connection, growth, respect and authenticity. We meet every second and fourth Sunday of every month for a walk and coffee, run monthly special events (this month it\'s yoga) and have an online space where men can connect. Since it\'s launch a few months ago, we now have 150 members all aspiring to share, learn, and grow together. Secondly, I have a story to tell (fortunately it has a happy ending, but this nearly wasn\'t the case). My mission here is to spread the learnings from what happened in my family with others, because I believe prevention is better than cure when it comes to our brains and what happens inside our heads. If you\'d like people in your school or organisation to listen to me talk about the struggles of men and their amazing brains, my Dad\'s story, and what we can all do about it, drop me a message. I\'ve also grown a collective audience of nearly 15k on Instagram and TikTok to help people feel informed, connected and in control of what\'s happening inside their heads and of those close to them. By day, I\'m a Management Consultant with a range of experience in business analysis, project management, change management and process improvement, in a range of industries in public and private sectors. Now combining this experience, I specialise in Change Management, specifically utilising data to make change tangible, designing bold communications to bring change to life, and most importantly empathising with end users throughout the PROSCI focused methodology I employ. Currently engaged in a 12 month FTC at lululemon, delivering change in Supply Strategy & Planning.
