RHEON LABS develops solutions that deliver ‘energy control’ to a wide range of product categories. Its scientists, engineers and designers work with leading sports brands to enhance the performance of a diverse range of products from clothing to footwear and helmets, and from grips and handles to sports equipment.I founded RHEON LABS to exploit the ingredient technology IP portfolio that, together with my associates, I have spent 15 years developing. At its core is a highly strain-rate sensitive material called RHEON™, which is soft and malleable in its natural state but stiffens immediately and temporarily upon impact or when it is subject to vibration, sudden tension or other forms of acute energy input. RHEON™ can be delivered in various forms – solid, liquid and fibre are all examples – and can therefore be integrated into practically any product to help control energy.
