In my current position, I manage the UK Engineering Early Career Department for GE Aviation Systems, including the Edison Engineering Graduate Development Programme, Level 6 Engineering Degree Apprentice Programme and Level 7 Engineering Master’s Apprenticeship Programme. This role encompasses management of full Development Scheme Lifecycle from talent deification through to facilitating off-programme jobs, and working with other global GE Aviation Graduate Programme Leaders.• Continuous Improvement of Development Schemes through feedback and maintaining best practice• Maintaining IET Accreditation of Graduate Programme and Approval of Apprentice Programme• Chairing Level 7 Electronic Systems Principal Engineer Apprenticeship Standard Trailblazer Group• Working with Rotation Managers to provide challenging assignments that both develop Programme Members and support key business projects and priorities. • Trainer for GE Aviation Foundations Global Leadership Programme Course for all GE Aviation Graduates• Leading 12-Day UK Engineering “Mini-Project” Training Course• Co-Leading 5-Day International \"Eng@GE\" Edison Training Course• Working with Subject Matter Experts to develop High Quality Training Material• Representing GE Aviation Systems on University Industrial Advisory Boards• Ownership and management of GE Cheltenham Site STEM Education program, which creates a future engineering pipeline, provides development opportunities for Edison Graduates & Apprentices, delivering over volunteer hours annually into the local community.
