The Maryville Planning Commission consists of seven members selected by the Mayor, including a legislative representative (City Council), the Mayor or designee, and two members that reside within the planning region beyond the city limits. The commission makes recommendations to City Council on plans, goals, and objectives related to the growth and development of the city and the planning region. They also validate decisions of the Downtown Design Review Board. The commission meets on the third Monday of each month at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
