MistyWest is an engineering design consultancy that exists to create futuristic technologies that enable a healthier planet and bring prosperity to all humankind, with a focus primarily on projects that advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals.MistyWest operates using a revised version of Holacracy resulting in highly fluid transitions of roles. I have primarily had an Impact at MistyWest in Sales & Marketing and Operations. Currently, I\'m mostly focused on leading Sales and Marketing activities at MistyWest. In these roles, I have the pleasure of working with an exceptional group of clients ranging from R&D teams at Major Companies to local start-ups looking to make a huge positive impact.I\'m accountable for ensuring MistyWest meets its revenue goals in the present and developing strategies for expanding revenue in alignment with our a mission in the future. Some of my favorite projects that I\'ve been involved with include- Muon Tomography based ore-body mapping- LiDAR Based 3D mapping and autonomy module- Wifi-based detection of concealed weapons- Early-stage development of minimally invasive wearables- Cellular-IoT-enabled asset tracking

ABOUT DAN MILLAR
I grew up keenly interested in helping people and solving problems (as well as harbouring a deep desire to build and fly around in an Iron Man suit). This first lead me down the path of becoming a Mechanical-Biomedical Engineer. I quickly found that solving interpersonal problems and connecting person to person was really where my greatest skills lay and so shifted my focus to sales and marketing in medical devices.As the problems of my generation became more apparent I shifted the focus of the impact I make to advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals. I do this by being a connector, mediator, and conduit of information. Specifically, I enable the companies I interact with to creating intelligent connected devices that move the world in a positive direction. I\'m also very much still interested in building an Iron Man Suit.
