ABOUT DAN MCNULTY

Chartered Mechanical Engineer and problem solver with 16 years of diverse experience across data systems and engineering analysis in the oil and gas industry and an MEng degree in Mechanical Design Engineering.Developer at ITI, I build and deploy real time engineering analytics and visualizations for the oil and gas industry using the Osisoft PI Server product line. I work directly with front line engineers to capture design requirements. I utilise my engineering knowledge and past mechanical engineering experience to add value and insight to a wide range of process and rotating equipment dashboards. This helps pick up performance discrepancies before they have a chance to trip key production assets. I am also interested in increasing efficiency of the associated delivery mechanisms.My work at Metron Oil and Gas Ltd involved research development work in improving reliability and availability of various rotating machinery using OSIsoft PI server and other BI tools.I have good experience prior to Metron in performing and project managing riser analysis At Aquaterra Energy to deliver quality recommendations and conclusions. I focused my deliverables on addressing client concerns first and foremost and I consistently maintain a very high quality of assessment throughout my projects.At Jee, the majority of my role involved IM related work, various analytical studies for pipeline defect related failures, dropped object assessments and also flexible pipe and cable lay analysis. Other past analytical experience includes CFD analysis for oil processing equipment, structural analysis for offshore vessel based frames, operations support and global FEA for offshore flexible pipelines and cables.
