Creation and delivery of content to students on a varied range of modules across Acting, Drama and Creative Practice degrees including- Mediated Voice (Radio Plays and Commercial Voice Reels)- Writing for Stage and Screen- Technical Theatre (including light and sound design)- Musicality (including digital mixing)- Acting MethodologiesAs a practitioner using my skills and experience across different elements of the performance industry, I am able to give the students first hand knowledge of the disciplines we are studying. I can offer insight into a Voice Over I may have recorded that week, or a performance/writing project I am undertaking alongside my teaching. This is invaluable for the students to have access to in a fast changing industry where one needs to be aware of current working practices.My ethos is very much about striving for greatness. I encourage the students not to settle and always ask themselves how they can improve. I try to ban phrases such as,\'it will do\' and \'it\'s fine\' as that breeds complacency and limited growth. Celebrate what you did well, but always take away what you can improve for next time.In addition to the lectures, I have also produced and directed three full length productions and an online film. The latter came about as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic and was held up as an example of art triumphing over adversity by The BBC, The Guardian and even received a mention in the House of Parliament by the Universities Minister.
