ABOUT DAN MARKHAM

During my time at Deloitte, I have had the distinct pleasure to serve in leadership capacities globally, and in Canada, at a time when there has been tremendous transformation in the market for professional services. In these roles, much of my focus has been on innovation, to embrace change, and transform both the ‘what’ and the ‘how’ of what we do to successfully grow the practice. In my current role I have the privilege of sitting on the Executive Leadership Team of Financial Advisory in Canada, as the Practice Leader of Asset & Economic Advisory. In this regard, I have overall managerial and P&L responsibility for this very rapidly growing practice. Working with a very talented team of leaders, we are continually focused on anticipating client needs; attracting and retaining the best talent in the market; and, ultimately delivering the best client experience possible. I cannot be defined entirely by the work sphere of life of course. In the world away from Deloitte, I can often be found supporting my children in their various pursuits; finding the next great wine, food or travel experience; and, generally trying to be a productive citizen and explorer of the world.
