I like people. I like working with people and seeing them succeed and I like working for people and providing them solutions that solve a problem they have. The logistics industry is an industry that is often high-stress with short deadlines, operational knuckleballs, staffing challenges and demanding clients.\"Dynamic\" is the palatable euphemism used by others to describe similar work environments. My work experience, to date, has been \"dynamic\". However, what I\'ve learned in that pressure cooker is the following:In the context of a \"dynamic\" work environment, I like working together to identify problems, researching solutions, enacting change, and seeing the results (usually positive).Shared goals or challenges, tackled collectively and collaboratively, in my opinion, off-sets the negatives of a \"dynamic\" work environment. Leading people by being honest, transparent, and invested in other\'s success, can create a team that can be forged in fire and be successful.Thus, empowering people, and more importantly, seeing them succeed fills me with endorphins.
