My area of research/development is process flowsheet development for processing of high level radioactive waste. My current focus is recovery of more mercury, improving foam control, and eliminating formic acid and the resultant hydrogen and ammonia generation by switching to glycolic acid as the reducing acid for the Defense Waste Processing Facility, the world\'s largest high level waste processing facility.
