Hello! My name Dan Kuhlman, and I serve as the Director of Recruitment and Admission at Marymount Manhattan College! With a strong foundation in Student Affairs, specifically Recruitment, Admissions, Residence Life, and Student Conduct, I\'m dedicated to shaping the future of higher education.In my role as the Director of Recruitment and Admissions, I supervise the Assistant Directors, Admissions Counselors, and Event and Access Coordinator in the Office of Admissions. Together with the Chief Enrollment Officer, we strategize marking and recruitment goals to yield an accomplished and diverse group of incoming students every Fall at Spring semester at MMC. I also oversee MMC\'s admissions parameters which we alter annually based on the ever-changing student population landscape. Finally, I work with my team to make sure we are recruiting heavily and effectively in the greater New York City area, across the United States, and all over the world. I personally recruit in the Bronx, Long Island, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, China, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, and the United Kingdom. I am a proud and active member of many admissions and enrollment management state-wide, national, and international organizations, including NACAC, IACAC, NYSACAC, and IC3. Formerly, I honed my skills as the Assistant Director of Residence Life at Marymount Manhattan, focusing on Staff and Student Development, Student Leadership, Facilities, Assignments, and Student Conduct. Before moving to New York City, I served as a Residence Hall Director at The Ohio State University, a Graduate Hall Director at Eastern Michigan University, an intern in the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards at EMU, and the ACUHO-I Summer Housing Intern at the Manhattan School of Music.My passion extends beyond the classroom and recruitment office – I\'m also an avid musical theatre actor and director, infusing creativity and passion into all aspects of my life.I\'m excited to connect with like-minded professionals, collaborate on innovative projects, and make a meaningful impact on the future of higher education.
