About Dan Keltner

I am a Senior Project Manager with over 24 years\' experience in the environmental consulting field, having worked previously in Iowa, Connecticut, and California before transferring to the greater Chicago area in 2012. An experienced manager and account leader for a variety of environmental and health/safety projects and clients, my areas of expertise include due diligence, subsurface environmental investigations and reporting, soil and groundwater monitoring and remediation reporting, underground storage tank removals, sensitive receptor surveys and mapping, environmental cost proposals and budgeting, and working closely with federal and state regulatory programs, particularly in California, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin.I currently lead due diligence projects for Eocene Environmental Group, completing and overseeing project for numerous clients across the United States including land acquisitions; redevelopments; utility infrastructure; and prospective developments of rural, suburban, and urban properties ranging from less than 1 acre to over 1,780 acres. Due diligence work includes over 100 projects annually involving Phase I ESAs, desktop environmental reviews, RSRAs, brownfields projects, property reconnaissance, and other tasks in support of clients’ acquisition, divestment, and lending requirements. I am also responsible for maintaining quality standards in accordance with prevailing due diligence guidance as well as training and mentoring junior staff supporting due diligence projects.My additional valuable project experience includes petroleum and solvent contamination assessment and cleanup; pipeline releases; road, rail, and airport facilities; environmental insurance claim reviews; environmental compliance projects, and environment, health, and safety awareness and training.I am a motivated individual that takes pride in the quality of my work product and my effective management of projects, budgets, and personnel.
