COOLR – Lockheed Contractor Sr Software Engineer on MILSTAR 2022 – Present Key contributor moving the MILSTAR command & control software from Solaris to Red Hat. Key component in the transition is moving the Abstract Syntax Notation (ASN) which provides interoperability by passing data between disparate systems. The ASN was implemented with OSS by OSS Nokalva, Inc on Solaris. The migration involves modifying software to accommodate ASN using ASN1C by Objective Systems, Inc. on Red Hat. This is a 32 bit to 64 bit system migration. Currently, starting the breakdown of the command & control system to microservices.
