I’m a Learning and Development Trainer at Sun Life Financial, focused on helping new disability adjudicators build the confidence, clarity, and skills they need to do meaningful work. My background blends leadership, coaching, business operations, and the ability to take complex material and turn it into training that actually sticks.Over the past year, I’ve also been expanding my technical skill set through applied cybersecurity. What started in the classroom grew into a hands-on home lab where I’ve been exploring VLAN segmentation, network defense, Docker, Pi-hole, and early-stage pentesting practice. I enjoy building systems, breaking them, fixing them, and documenting everything in a way that makes sense — it aligns naturally with how I approach learning and teaching.I’m interested in how strong learning design and strong security practices intersect. Clear communication, good documentation, structured processes, and consistent habits matter in both fields.
