   Williamson County Sheriff\'s Office

   Aug 1992 — Present

   Only person at my 250-sworn agency twice-named Officer of Year, 2002 and 2015. The first for solving the 1984 Laura Salmon Case, the second for solving the 1986 Deborah Bess murder case. Both killers convicted got life, sentenced 2006 & 2015 respectively. My agency has now solved eight homicides dating back to 1979, and a 20-year-old kidnapping. I was one of two detectives working all but one. Seven of the homicides have ended in convictions only one has not been adjudicated. Our current cold case guy has three more ready to indict.Currently Dayshift CID Sergeant and Cold Case Supervisor. Daily management of 10 top-notch detectives, directing and consulting with lone Cold Case Detective on solving open-unsolved murders, kidnappings and questionable deaths.Serving since August 17, 1992, save seven months as Media Relations Manager with Barrett Firearms Manufacturing July \'05 through Jan.\'06.Served in Patrol \'92-\'93, School Resource Officer \'93-\'95, Narcotics \'95-\'99 & \'03-\'05, CID \'99-\'03 & 2006-Present. Certified Firearms Instructor since \'96, and RCSO Public Information Officer from \'99-\'11 and still fill in when full-time PIO is out.
