ABOUT DAN FURTH

Currently the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development & Communications at Heniff, having joined the company in 2022. Served as President and CEO (previously vice president) of the National Tank Truck Carriers for over 12 years. As only the fourth president in NTTC\'s 75-year history, I led the association to its largest legislative and regulatory victories to-date, as well as the achievement of its greatest financial performance in both up and down markets. My experience in the tank truck industry dates back to high school in Lake Bluff, Illinois, when I worked for the original Quality Carriers, LLC. Since then, I played an integral role in MTL Inc.\'s IPO and subsequent merger with Chemical Leaman to rebrand as Quality Distribution/Quality Carriers (QD), managing corporate communications, marketing communications, investor relations, and public affairs functions, while serving as chief of staff to QD\'s Chairman/CEO. I have a proven record of achievement for industry advocacy at the federal level, as well as prior management success in large corporate settings, early-stage entrepreneurial ventures, corporate finance, and complex integration challenges related to mergers and acquisitions. My ability to synthesize complex issues into manageable, understandable decision points makes me an effective manager and team player focused on success for all stakeholders. I currently reside in Washington, DC, where I graduated from Georgetown University many years ago. Hoya Saxa.
