ABOUT DAN FRANKLIN

Chief geotechnical engineer for numerous projects in Texas and the Gulf Coast over the past 33 years. These projects have included analyses for shallow and deep foundations with mats, drilled piers, piles, slope stability, roadways and railways, tank farms, river front structures, retaining walls, and dynamically loaded equipment foundations. Subsurface conditions of these projects comprise expansive soils, stiff clays, very soft alluvial deposits and rock. He has also conducted advanced in-situ testing such as dilatometer, pressuremeter, ultrasonic cross-hole, plate and pile load tests. He has also been involved with several technical, project, and contract interview presentations as well as providing expert witness services. Maintains current business relationships and in constant pursuit of future clients.
